Client Testimonials:
One of my goals in Pilates with Maddie is to tone and strengthen the back of my arms and around the bra line. My weekly Pilates sessions are working! Now I even get compliments on how great my arms look!
Alysia
I have done pilates on and off for over 15 years and Maddie is by far the most amazing experience I have ever had. She has a keen insight and understanding of how to adjust your body in the slightest way to achieve the greatest result. Her compassion, humor and positive attitude puts you right at ease and makes it fun to work out. I have some limitations and Maddie always finds creative ways to work around them. She’s the best!
Denise
Maddie is the best! I started with her about six months after my daughter was born who is now three. She was critical in helping me find my core postpartum. She helped guide me through my second pregnancy. I had significantly less back pain with my second pregnancy than my first and I attribute this completely to Maddie. As I was nearing the end of my pregnancy, Maddie helped to prepare me for birth, including specific exercises which led to a quick and easy delivery. I even recall one specific exercise which spurred my labor. This postpartum journey has been so much easier physically for me and I know that is largely in part two my continued work with Maddie starting back with her only two weeks postpartum this time. She is able to adapt to wherever you are in your life, emotionally, mentally, and physically.
Rosie
I went with a friend to Maddie’s for my first Pilates class, and now I have started going 3 times a week. Maddie isn’t just helping me tone and lengthen but also she helps me be aligned in other aspects of life. Aligned mind, body, and soul. Maddie specifically tailors the exercises for you! Time with Maddie is time not just time with a Pilates instructor but with a friend, a helper, and a positive light by your side helping you be your best self!

PILATES
PILATES & FUNCTIONAL MOVEMENT THERAPY
Maddie’s movement therapy method is built on the foundation of the Pilates Method, enhanced by years of experience in functional movement and neuromuscular retraining. Her integrative sessions are designed to support proper body alignment, build core strength, restore range of motion, and reduce pain or dysfunction. Sessions may include: -Pilates-based movement for core stability and posture -Biomechanics education to retrain patterns of movement -Myofascial release & trigger point therapy for fascial health and pain reduction -Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) for flexibility and neuromuscular control -Somatic movement practices to build awareness and self-regulation Whether you are rehabilitating from injury, managing chronic tension, or simply seeking to move more efficiently, Maddie’s approach helps you reconnect with your body’s intelligence and create lasting change.

ACUPRESSURE

Jin Shin Jyutsu is an ancient Japanese healing art that harmonizes the body’s energy pathways to promote well-being and reduce stress. Through gentle touch on specific “safety energy locks,” Maddie helps release blockages and restore the natural flow of vital energy. This non-invasive practice supports the body’s innate ability to heal, fostering physical, mental, and emotional balance. Maddie finds that this adds a subtle but powerful layer of support for her clients by helping regulate energy flow and circulation. It calms internal stress patterns through gentle, specific touch and can reach areas that effort and stretching alone often do not access. Maddie has seen this enhance results in a practical way for her clients. Where Pilates organizes and supports, and Yin Yoga softens and opens, Jin Shin Jyutsu helps settle the nervous system and release holding patterns, allowing new patterns of alignment and ease to take root more deeply. When muscular guarding and chronic tension patterns ease, there is less physical restriction on blood and lymph flow. Rather than “pushing” circulation the way massage might, Jin Shin Jyutsu is understood to support the conditions that allow the body to circulate fluids more efficiently on its own. Maddie encourages all of her clients to try this method because she has found that goals and results are often achieved more quickly when these flows are open in the body.
YIN YOGA
Yin Yoga complements Maddie’s Pilates-based work by giving the body space to integrate, not just strengthen. While Pilates builds stability, control, and efficient movement patterns, Yin targets the deeper connective tissues, supporting joint health, hydration, and nervous system regulation. Together, they create lasting change by balancing effort with restoration, so your body not only performs better, but also feels different in everyday life.

BIRTH SUPPORT

As a birth doula, Maddie brings a unique, integrative approach that supports the whole person—physically, emotionally, and energetically—throughout the birthing process. With a foundation in movement therapy, body alignment, somatic awareness, and energy work, she helps birthing individuals stay connected to their bodies, their breath, and their inner strength. Maddie draws from over a decade of experience in modalities such as Pilates, biomechanics, myofascial release, somatic therapy, PNF, and the BodyTalk system. This allows her to offer gentle, effective hands-on techniques for pain relief, positional support, and nervous system regulation during labor. Her understanding of movement and fascia helps her guide clients in optimizing pelvic alignment and breathing patterns—key components for a smoother and more empowered birth experience. Emotionally, Maddie creates a grounded, compassionate presence. She holds space for the unfolding of each person’s unique birth story while offering tools such as meditation, Reiki, and mindful movement to help process fear, tension, or past trauma. Whether you’re seeking physical relief, emotional support, or spiritual grounding during labor, Maddie’s doula care honors your body’s wisdom and your journey into parenthood with attunement, skill, and trust in the process.

About Maddie
Maddie fell in love with movement while growing up in Tampa, playing sports and dancing. She pursued concert dance at Blake High School and received a BFA in Dance from the University of Utah. During that time, she completed a 450-hour comprehensive Pilates certification. After college, she moved to New York City and taught a diverse clientele. There, she dealt with her own dance-related injuries, which instigated a deeper dive into her personal Pilates practice. She then obtained an advanced certification for movement professionals, which included courses in anatomy, physiology, hypermobility, and pre- and postnatal continuing education. After moving back to Tampa, she acquired multiple certifications, including Body Talk, Yin Yoga, Birth Doula, Reiki, and Acupressure. This continued education sets her apart from other instructors and gives her multiple skill sets to support clients with a variety of needs. Her 10 years of experience have deepened her hands-on skills, pain management approach, and goal-setting mentality for herself and her clients. She has worked with clients navigating challenges such as disc herniations, spondylolisthesis, osteoarthritis, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, joint replacement and repair, scoliosis, spinal fusions, and more. She specializes in movement re-education and works with a range of clients dealing with complex, chronic issues, as well as those simply looking to support their broader fitness goals.
